Heritage Walks in Regional Victoria (Central Victoria Goldfields)

Heritage Walks in Regional Victoria (Central Victoria Goldfields)

Castlemaine, Bendigo and Ballarat are Central Victoria's three 'golden' cities. Gold rush era heritage is displayed in magnificent streetscapes with grand buildings which reflected the wealth of the time.

Also, the smaller towns of the surrounding goldfields areas of Victoria were built on the wealth from the local gold rushes.

There is also a rich mining heritage to be discovered exploring the remains of former gold mining areas.
