Whiteley Parade Playground, Taylors Lakes

Am I in Sydenham or the Serengeti? A huge zebra structure is the centre piece of the playground and has two wave slides, curved rope and solid ladders, little balance beam walkway and some fun panels - there are cute giraffe and green rhino springers (I thought there were only white and black rhinos?), a big cube shaped frame with ropes and horizontal rings to climb through, stand-on carousel for a few people, three swings and a sand pit which is quite rough and coarse - but what do you expect in the wilds of Africa - a hot bath each night?
There is a shelter with BBQ and table, lovely curved wooden seats and some flat seats. Next to a bike path and a creek (watercourse). The only things missing are a few roaring lions and a water hole (even a water tap would be nice).
