Verona Drive Playground, Keilor Lodge
On an elevated area is a wooden castle structure which can be reached (with some difficulty) by either a suspended log walkway or an even more difficult pole with notches. The reward is the chance to go down a big metal slide. This area also has three small wave slides on the side of the slope - which is ideal if you have triplets.
On the side of the playground is a flying fox with disk seat, basketball half court and some exercise equipment.
During the warmer months the jewel of the playground is a big water pump where kids can pump water into a channel and direct the water via various routes using sluice gates. The routes lead around or into a sandpit which is great for wet sand play. The channels cross under a few bridges to make it even more fun. The sandpit also has a digger for the heavy construction work.
Other elements include a wooden drum, a clanger to make beautiful music (or noise depending on how tone deaf your children are), a see-saw which moves in multiple directions, birds nest swing, high horizontal bars and standard swings.
Shelter with two tables, unshaded tables and seats, BBQ, water tap, decent size grassy area (with football posts) and outdoor gym.
