Green Gully Reserve Playground, McCrae Boulevard, Keilor Downs
A delightful playground which is dominated by a tower on a mound with a big spiral slide and a curved slide. To get to the slides you need to climb up a rope tunnel which is too difficult for many young kids. The side of the tower also has a fireman's pole and small climbing wall with frog holds.
On the sides of the mound is a rope traverse with four rope strands to move along, pipes to hit a clanger against and a little wave slide.
Around the bottom of the mound are vertical logs with climbing holds, birds nest swing, standard swings, maze panel and log stepper path.
Look out for the beautiful wooden carvings of native birds. The area is beautifully landscaped with flowers and bushes.
Next to the playground is a shelter with a table, shelter with BBQ and unshaded table, basketball / netball court, water tap, toilets and outdoor gym. There is a concrete bike path which goes around the reserve.
There is plenty of space and some more playground equipment would make the playground even better.
