Kevin Flint Memorial Reserve Playground, Furlong Road, Cairnlea
The playground may not have a lot of equipment but the location is lovely with a huge grassy area at the higher level and Cairnlea Lake with waterbirds below.
There is also a huge atom shaped climbing frame, four person rocker, two stand-on spinners, three lovely springers, structure with slide, climbing wall, tree ladder, tic-tac-toe and an elevated platform with standard ladder, spiral ladder, telescope and binoculars in celebration of the growling grass frog.
About 100m away is a large netball/basketball court. The beautifully landscaped area has huge rocks to climb on, shaded tables, unshaded seats, water tap, BBQs and toilets.
This location is also known as Cairnlea Lake playground.
