Zina Grove Playground, Mooroolbark

A lovely playground set in a stand of gum trees with natural elements including rocky outcrops. You can walk out onto some of the rock slabs and feel like Simba the lion looking over his playground kingdom.

There is a big spinning rope cone, birds nest swing, big four person see-saw / rocker, four standard swings, two big sound dishes, basketball court and a substantial structure with high and low sections. The highest part has a tall spiral slide, very high and steep scrambling wall and high fireman's pole. Steps lead down to an area with a walkway, ladder, small steep wave slide, inclined rope bridge and inclined hanging disk traverse. At the lowest level is a tunnel, shop fronts, horizontal bars, cubby under a roof with seats, suspended balance beam, balance beam with obstacles, low monkey bars, wooden bridge and a rectangular rope net climbing frame.

There is a shelter with a table, unshaded seats, big grassy area and water tap. Unfortunately there aren't any BBQs.
