Yarram to Alberton Tarra Trail
The 13.8km Tarra Trail is a walking and cycling trail following the path of the old rail line from Yarram to Port Albert which passes through Alberton.
Bring the family along for this ride as it is a relatively easy and short journey. After the first 7km you will pass through the small town of Alberton - nip into at the local watering hole for hearty pub fare. Then continue on another 6km to Port Albert where you can take a stroll through the heritage maritime village and indulge in fabulous fish and chips from the wharf.
The trail connects with other local pathways making it possible to start or finish the trail from many locations.
Most of the trail is compacted gravel, easy to walk on.
Start: Yarram Wetlands (53 Station Street), Yarram
Finish: Memorial Park, Wharf St, Port Albert
