Yarra Valley Tourist Railway (Healesville)

The railway is currently running trolley trains from Healesville to Tunnel Hill, crossing the Watts River, under the Donovan's Road overbridge and through the historic tunnel at Tarrawarra Winery. It is expected that accreditation for a passenger service will be obtained soon.

Opening Hours:

A round trip departs Healesville station every hour from 10.00am to 4.00pm on
Sundays, Public Holidays and School Holidays (Wednesday to Sunday).

I hate to say it, since the volunteers do a great job, but our kids weren't that excited on this train ride, although they did like the tunnel. We were in a covered carriage and I think it would have been more fun in one of the open trolley carriages.
