Review:
The course is set in a nice location within easy walk of the Studley Park Boathouse (via a pedestrian bridge across the Yarra) and next to the Yarra Bend Park which has a track which leads to Dights Falls.
There are two courses which have recently been constructed and so they are in good condition. We played the East course which had enough challenge but you don't get into situations where it is so difficult for the kids to get the ball into the hole that Dad starts to explode like the Krakatoa volcano. In general, there are combinations of slopes to simulate a real green. The equipment is good and there are coloured balls (with enough different colours for all but the biggest families).
Since the adventure golf course is next to a real golf course and driving range, there is a good chance there might be a sausage sizzle happening if you visit on the weekend. The smell of sausages sizzling on the barbie has the potential to be quite distracting though. Maybe it is best to eat first, play second. There is also a cafe next to the course with outdoor tables and some tables under cover.
