Wonthaggi Visitor Information Centre
Visit the friendly staff and volunteers at the Wonthaggi Visitor Information Centre. They look forward to helping you plan your visit to Wonthaggi and the surrounding Bass Coast, Phillip Island and Gippsland regions.
The centre is located in the Wonthaggi Centennial Centre, built in 2011 to celebrate the Centennial of Wonthaggi.
There is a wide range of free maps, visitor guides and brochures to help you to decide what to do and see and how best to enjoy what the region has to offer.
The Bass Coast Shire's proximity to two of Victoria's premier tourist attractions, Wilson's Promontory and Phillip Island, make the area the perfect place to base yourself at any time of the year.
Next to the centre is a shelter with table plus a big roof with shaded seats. Fincher Street Reserve, which is beside the centre has a shelter with long table, two unshaded tables and some sculptures.
Opening Hours:
9:00am -5:00pm daily. Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday.
