Winchester Avenue Playground, Epping

The highlight is a super cute play structure for younger kids which is two interconnected castles with fun and colourful creatures adorning the sides. The structure has two slides, a curved climbing wall with hand holds and rope traverse. You can even scan a code on your phone to listen to a Han Christian Anderson fairy-tale - play meets technology! The slides end on a big soft area with numbered circles and a hopscotch area.

For the older kids there is a high structure with big long wave slide, climbing wall, shop front, fireman's pole, walkway, medium wave slide and monkey bars. Also a pyramid shaped rope climbing frame, see-saw, cute car springer, birds nest swing, standard swings, basketball court and lovely colourful picket fences.

There is a 120m concrete track around the playground area for bikes (with distance markers every 20m), two shelters with one table, unshaded BBQ, unshaded seats, water tap and big grassy area. The playground was upgraded in 2014.
