Whitehorse Historical Society (Mitcham)
The purpose of the Whitehorse Historical Society Inc. is to foster historical interest and knowledge. To collect, document, research, preserve and exhibit items that show how people have lived and worked in the development of the Whitehorse area from human settlement to the present day.
Collections include items relating to domestic life, education, local families and identities, religious, recreational, social and working life and local business, industry and agriculture.
Based at Schwerkolt Cottage & Museum Complex, Mitcham.
Opening Hours:
The Whitehorse Historical Society local history room is open 10:00 am - 3:00 pm on Wednesdays
