Westfield Knox Outdoor Playground, Burwood Highway, Wantirna South
Located at the western end of the shopping centre (the old Myers store location), the playground links between the ground level and the higher level through a number of climbing elements.
Scattered around the area is a spiral slide, stand-alone slide, big leaf shaped structure with rubber levels to help you climb upwards, log steppers, huge eggs which make ostrich eggs seem tiny, climbing tree between levels and hanging swings.
There is a big basketball court on the second level. shelter with two tables in one corner on the ground level and lots of unshaded seats on the sides. Next to Sugar Buns shop just in case the kids need any extra energy. There are toilets nearby.
Because the playground has equipment connecting two levels, this makes it difficult for younger kids (and their parents). Overall, the playground is best suited to kids 5+.
