Western Region Concert Band
The Western Region Concert Band is a band with a long history and have performed at a huge range of events and are well known for our annual Last Night of The Proms event at the Williamstown Town Hall.
Having performed alongside a number of incredible artists such as Leo Sayer, James Morrison, Silvie Paldino, Normie Rowe, Glenn Shorrock, Gina Jeffreys, and most recently, Mark Vincent, band members push and challenge themselves, and led by our Musical Director Andrew Houston, always deliver a high standard of music and professionalism.
Founded in 1977, Western Region Concert Band is an ensemble consisting of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. Our repertoire is wide and varied from pop, show tunes, classical, jazz and concert band music. Something for everyone!
Opening Hours:
Western Region Concert Band rehearses on Saturday mornings from 9:00am for 3 hours (except for the Christmas break).
Rehearsal is at the St Albans Community Centre (STACC), Princess St, St Albans.
