Westerfolds Park Playground, Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe
Westerfolds Park can be a mass of humanity on a nice weekend so be prepared for a bit of argy-bargy.
This is a total fail by Parks Victoria. It's a lovely location for a large nature based playground but instead they have built a bland, standard playground which you could see at any suburban park.
There is a structure with dual slides, walkway, rope and step bridges, horizontal traverses, vertical rope net and rope spiders web climbing frame, spiral slide, tunnel, fireman's pole and shopfront. Birds nest swing and standard swings. We visited while the playground was being built and more equipment might be added.
Big shelter with six tables, unshaded tables, water tap, wood BBQs (wood provided - you bring the fire lighter) and toilets.
