West Bendigo - Central Nell Gwynne Poppet Head
The restored poppet head of the Central Nell Gwynne mine is an iconic landmark of Bendigo. The site is representative of the 1930's mining revival period and contains the most intact set of artefacts of any
site from this period.
The area also has a concrete winding engine and compressor beds plus foundations of a 20-head stamp battery.
