Werribee Baseball Club (Wyndham Vale)

Formed in 1983, Werribee Giants Baseball Club has always striven to be competitive, fun and family orientated.

Werribee Baseball Club currently resides at President's Park baseball complex in Wyndham Vale. The complex consists currently of three Diamonds with clubroom facilities. The Werribee Giants Baseball Club offers outstanding facilities for all age groups and skill levels. So what ever your desire to play baseball, whether to progress to the elite level, or to just enjoy the social aspects and play in a not so serious environment, Werribee is the place for you!

The club is one of the few baseball clubs that runs 12 months of the year competing both in winter (April to Sept) and in summer competitions (Sept to March).

Seniors Program

The Werribee Giants Baseball Club fields teams in both the Baseball Victoria Summer League Competition and in the Geelong Baseball Association Winter League Competition.

Baseball Victoria Summer League Competition - The Club is fielding four teams in the Baseball Victoria Summer League Competition in Division 2. Games are played on a Sunday afternoon and the summer season is played between October and March each year with a break over the Christmas period.

Melbourne Winter Baseball League Competition - The Club also fields teams in the Melbourne Winter Baseball League Competition. Games are played on a Saturday afternoon and the winter season is played between April and August.

Criteria for Playing - Both seniors competitions are open to players aged 14 years and over and of any skill level. Players with any or no level of experience and skill can play. All players are welcome!

Training - Training for seniors baseball is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting at 6:00pm. Dinner will be provided after training most Thursday evenings.

Juniors Program

The Werribee Giants Baseball Club fields junior teams in both the Baseball Victoria Summer League Competition and in the Melbourne Winter Baseball League Competition.

Baseball Victoria Summer League Competition - The Club is fielding under 12's, 14's, 16's and 18's teams in the Baseball Victoria Summer League Competition. This is a 'home and away' competition.

Under 12's and 14's play on a Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with players needing to arrive at the ground by 5:30pm for warm ups.

Under 16's and 18's play on a Sunday morning from 9:00am to 11:00am with players needing to be at the ground by 8:00am for warms ups.

The summer season is played between October and March each year with a break over the Christmas period.

Melbourne Winter Baseball League Competition - The Club is fielding teams in the Under 13's, 15's and 17's in the Diamond Valley Junior Baseball Association, which is run by the MWBL.

Games are played on a Saturday morning and the winter season is played between April and August.

Womens Program

The Werribee Giants Baseball Club fields a women's team in the Victorian Summer League Competition. Games are played on a Saturday afternoon with the season running from October through to March. We currently do not field a team in the Winter competition. The women's team is open to players aged 14 years and older.

Training - Tuesdays from 6pm and Thursdays from 6pm.
