Wedderburn - Coach House Art Gallery and Museum
The Coach House Gallery/Museum complex is run by volunteers to support the artistic endeavours in the Loddon Community.
The Museum offers a step back in time to a General Store which was built in 1913 as an upgrade to the then existing store which was built in the 1840's, also to see are some old carriages and a blacksmiths shop.
The Gallery has exhibitions which feature mostly local artists. The exhibitions change on a four to five week time table.
Opening Hours:
Standard hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday 10:00am -3:00pm
Opening hours are negotiable, please call to arrange a suitable time.
Cost:
There is an entry fee to the museum ($5 per adult, $3 per concession, $3 per children under 12, free for children under 5 in Nov 2024), although the gallery is only a gold coin donation.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Optional museum tours are $5 per person or $15 per family. This comprises a tour of the 1913 General Store, two basement cellars, large collection of memorabilia and photographs & coach house. Depending on your level of interest allow at least 30 minutes.
