Upper Point Cook Playground, Webster Street Playground, Point Cook
A huge three story tower looms over the playground which has two giant tunnel slides curving down to the ground - one from the second level and one from the third level. A spiral staircase in the centre of the tower is used to access the slides.
The playground has a sports theme with a small soccer field and basketball court.
The soccer field has soccer goals at each end, artificial grass surface and a nice scoring system on a wall.
The playground also has a flying fox with disk seat, birds nest swing, standard swing, expression swing (where parent and child sit opposite each other), rope climbing net. The basketball court has a number of markings on the surface for various games. There are some roofs which provide some shade for three tables and BBQs. When we visited the toilets were locked.
The whole area is nicely landscaped and there is a grassy area for games. There is a water tap in the north west corner of the grassy area.
UPDATE from Sarah on 25/10/22: Unfortunately the bike/skate track part of the playground and also the old off street carpark area have been demolished. Sports grounds are currently being built on what use to be the 'paddock' area. New car parking is meant to be part of the new build. Expected to be completed in November 2022.
