Waverley Model Railway Club

We are a hobby club and Men's Shed in South East Melbourne suburbs, devoted to model railroading, catering to HO/OO and N scale Australian, British and US modelling.

Waverley Model Railway Club and Men's Shed is a friendly group of people with a diverse range of railway modelling interests. Our members are modelling and scale railway enthusiasts who enjoy coming together to share their passions, hone skills and pass on knowledge.

We usually have one or two group projects 'on-the-go'. They're a great way to meet people, share skills and form new friendships.

Projects could include activities like;

Maintenance of existing club layouts
Designing & managing new projects
Carpentry & timber framing
Engineering & problem solving
Digital electronics, programming & wiring
Designing & laying track
Modelling rolling stock, buildings & scenery
Kit & scratch build projects

What's on? - From running trains, timetabling, layout construction, electronics, computer systems through to building your own locomotives & carriages, creating miniature landscapes, bridges, buildings, cities... the list is never exhausted. That's why model railways are fun!
