Watsonia Tennis Club (Watsonia)
Watsonia Tennis Club was founded in 1972 and is a 6 court facility (2 en-tout-cas and 4 plexipave courts) which is home to 179 members.
We offer social and competition tennis for all abilities. Anyone is welcome at Watsonia Tennis Club. We cater for juniors who play in the North Eastern Junior Tennis Association (NEJTA), mens and womens night competition who play in the North Eastern Night Tennis Group (NENTG), afternoon competition in Heidelberg District Tennis Association (HDTA) plus coaching of all levels.
We pride ourselves on our community spirit and the fact we have so many families involved with the club. Our club is passionately committed to helping everyone in the Banyule area enjoy life through the physical, mental and social benefits of tennis. Our vision as a club is to have a healthier, more active community by helping people incorporate exercise into their daily lives.
The Club has coaching opportunities through Cameron MacColl Tennis Coaching. The coaching programs vary from Hot Shots (Tennis Australia's modified program for kids aged 5-12), Junior Coaching (Group, private and squad sessions), Adult Coaching (Tennis Victoria's Mums Program as well group and private sessions for both male and female) and School Holiday Programs.
