Waratah Road Playground, Huntly

A lovely playground with an extensive structure with a lot of traversing opportunities. It has dual wave slides, single wave slide, climbing wall, firemans pole, rope net bridge, rope bridge, inclined bridge with steps, hanging disks, monkey bars, flying fox, balance beam, stepping stones, inclined bridge, tic-tac-toe, disks on a vertical pole and shop front. Also standard swings, birds nest swing, medium sized rope pyramid climbing frame, kangaroo see-saw, kangaroo springer, big echidna wooden sculpture and lots of wooden trails made from logs upturned in the ground at different heights.

Big grassy area and a field with four football posts at one end and a soccer goal at the other. Shelter with three tables and BBQ. Also water tap and a pond. A great spot for a family picnic but take care with the pond. The playground is located at the extreme eastern end of Waratah Road.
