The oval almost classifies as a fenced area. There are some gates which need to be kept closed and a few gaps near the coaches boxes where small dogs could squeeze through. There are a number of bins around the reserve and some smallish grassy areas around the oval.
In the south east corner a path leads for 240m through a thin strip with lots of shady gumtrees to Tyner Road. The reserve has a playground but no water tap.
