W.A Scammell Reserve Playground, Guest Road, Oakleigh South

Most of the playground is covered by shade sails donated by the Huntingdale Rotary Club. It pains me to say this but this playground isn't worth covering (and last time we were there in summer the shade sails were not up) . Old and run-down with slide, monkey bars, flying fox, chain traverse, log roll, swings and smaller structure for younger kids. Basketball court next door. Seat without shade.

Scammell Reserve is home to the South Oakleigh Bowling Club, the Oakleigh Amateurs Football Club, the Oakleigh Dragons Junior Football Club and the Emmanuel South Oakleigh Cricket Club. The reserve has a premier turf wicket surface. The reserve also features large open spaces, Guides hall, sporting pavilion and BBQ facilities.
