Turtons Creek Falls
Turtons Creek includes a waterfall set in spectacular wet forests, located approximately 20 kilometres north of Foster in the beautiful Strzelecki Ranges.
There are two waterfalls in the area. From the carpark, there is a 1.8km return walk to Turtons Creek Falls along a well defined gravel track. For the more adventurous, there is a 3km difficult return walk with some indistinct trails which passes Turtons Creek Falls and Turtons Creek Little Falls. There is signage and a map of the route. It is possible to drive or walk to both falls.
There is a campground situated on the banks of the creek under shady mountain ash.
How to get there
Advice is not to rely on the GPS. It is best to use the GPS in combination with a map. The road from Foster is dirt single lane and can be slippery when wet. The roads from Mirboo are much easier.
