Trillium Park Playground, Rosette Parade, Craigieburn
A wonderful play space suited to younger kids. Set in a beautifully landscaped area with grassy sections and includes a place where you make yourself into a human sundial, beautiful butterfly sculptures, fenced soccer field with artificial grass, basketball court, swings, area with five in-ground trampolines, shelter with two tables, water tap and BBQs, lots of unshaded seats and an extensive set of paths representing roads with various traffic signs (BYO bike). The paths intersect with a train track which has the Trillium Park Express train with carriage beside the Trillium Train Station, Cafe and Trillium General Store.
A separate area has some traditional playground equipment including a rope climbing frame, train springer and standalone wave slide. Toilets with nice murals on the outside walls. There's even free Wi-Fi to check the train timetable. What more could your child want?
