Tooradin Foreshore Reserve Playground, Foreshore Road, Tooradin
The playground is set beside a huge shady cypress tree and has a sea theme with a towering red and white lighthouse which has a big tunnel slide, waves slide, climbing wall, ramp access, fun panels, tree ladder and little slide.
On the sea floor around the lighthouse is a huge octopus, offset sit-on spinner, suspended log traverse, sit-on springer, music panels, standard swings and birds nest swings.
There is paid parking to help maintain the area via a gold coin donation to honesty boxes. It is a very interesting area for kids to explore. When the tide is out it is possible to search for crabs in the mud and there are plenty of birds such as pelicans. There are toilets on the opposite side of the road and some nice wooden sculptures.
The playground was upgraded in 2016.
