Tjilatjirrin Reserve Playground, Spring Street, Sandringham
A majestic lion guards the rock outcrop with tunnels through it. Are we in Kenya or Sandringham? The rocky outcrop has climbing wall holds, metal bar ladder, spiral slide and wave slide.
There are two sandpits (one with two diggers), four swings, bar to hit a clanger against, flying fox, monkey bars, balance beam, cup to sit in and spin around, two in-ground trampolines and some fun animal puzzle boards.
At the front of the playground, as well as the lion, is a kangaroo springer and elephant springer under shade sales. This is surrounded on three sides by a sandpit with rocks on the edges and water tap to make some sand cakes.
Unshaded tables, BBQ, water tap and big grassy areas.
