Thornton Recreation Reserve Playground, Taggerty Thornton Road, Thornton
An extensive play structure located next to an oval (which shouldn't be too much of a surprise since it is a recreation reserve).
The structure has a wave slide, chain climbing wall, rope tunnel ladder, fireman's pole, steering wheel, telescope, rigid frame bridge, arched monkey bars, hanging disks, big chain bridge, sloping parallel bars, climbing wall, curved walkway, smaller slide, steps, bars to hit a clanger against, binoculars, sensory panel and shop front. Swings (one with a harness), wooden boat with steering wheel, surfboard springer, kangaroo springer and suspended rope climbing wall.
Netball court, unshaded tables and seats and toilets. Near some water which is one of the less attractive creeks in the area.
