The Yarriambiack Shire region is four hours drive north-west of Melbourne and includes the main town of
Warracknabeal and smaller towns of
Beulah,
Hopetoun,
Minyip,

A highlight of the region is the
Yarriambiack Shire Silo Art Trail with spectacular artwork on silos in Brim, Patchewollock, Sheep Hills, Rupanyup, Lascelles and Rosebery.
Enjoy a picnic and walk at
Lake Lascelles and
Lake Marma. Up the outdoor experience at
Wyperfeld National Park. The Snowdrift camping area is set alongside a huge white sand dune which provides a place for the fantastic experience of sand tobogganing.

Flora and Fauna Park Playground, Warracknabeal
A playground structure under a huge shade sail with the highlights being a cute train with steering wheel and carriage plus a very tall wave slide and climbing wall. The rest of the play structure has a steep and high rigid frame ladder (to reach the high slide), hanging disks, steep chain bridge, steps, telescope, walkway, distorting mirror, smaller wave slide, steering wheel and disks on a vertical pole.
Also swings, bike springer, pelican springer and stand on spinner.
There is a big round shelter with seats on the perimeter, shelter with BBQs, unshaded tables and seats, wishing well (Make a wish that's pure and true and angels may send a wish to you), a field of mushrooms and Fauna Park. Located next to the river with a lovely grassy area and toilets.

Murtoa Skatepark (Decent steel park with a lot of quarters, banks, rails, spine and ledge)
Warracknabeal Skatepark (Small concrete park with ramps at one end and two quarters and ramp at the other end. Fun box with rail in the centre)
There is another skate park at
Hopetoun Skatepark (A concrete base with quarters at one end, ramps at the other end and a fun box with rail in the middle).

Murtoa Stick Shed (Constructed in 1941 as a solution for grain storage during the World War II wheat glut, the mammoth construction has become a memorial to Aussie ingenuity. It gets it's name from the over 560 mountain ash unmilled poles or "sticks" up to 20m high that support the structure and create an impression of a vast indoor forest)
Water Tower Museum (Houses three floors of local artefacts and the famous James Hill taxidermy collection of over 500 birds, eggs and mammals which is over one hundred years old)
