The Hill Mountain Bike Park (Newtown)
The Hill is a large public mountain bike park in Geelong, occupying approximately four hectares, which caters for all riders of any age. It features five tracks catering from beginner to intermediate riders. It has a few kilometres of flowing tracks, pump tracks, dirt jumps, drops, a skills sections and berms.
The park contains three loop tracks, three skills tracks, row of dirt jumps and three pump tracks.
The photo above was taken in 2017 and shows the layout of the tracks. Since then hundreds of trees have been planted and the environment is much more like riding through bushland now.
At the entrance to the park there is a shelter with two tables and a lovely sculpture of a boy on a bike.
