We have created a document in PDF format which has a summary of the best playgrounds in the South West region of Melbourne. It includes 29 playgrounds in Altona, Altona Meadows, Ardeer, Bacchus Marsh, Braybrook, Derrimut, Footscray, Footscray West, Hoppers Crossing, Maddingley, Point Cook, Sunshine, Sunshine West, Tarneit, Werribee, Werribee South, Williams Landing, Williamstown, Wyndham Vale and Yarraville

UPDATE: Since we published this list, some other great playgrounds have been created or upgraded and should be added to the list. These are:
Crocodile Park Playground, Saltwater Promenade, Point Cook drew on the Roald Dahl children's story 'The Enormous Crocodile' where a crocodile lives in a playground pretending to be a friendly see-saw before quickly gobbling children for dinner.
E.A. Coulson Gardens, Chifley Drive, Maribyrnong is a big wooden playground.
Harpley Adventure Playground, Black Forest Road, Werribee is a play space designed for all abilities access which has an Australian animal and bird theme throughout.
Million Dollar Park, Perennial Drive, Truganina has a lot of facilities to keep family members of all ages occupied.
Jawbone Reserve, Crofton Drive, Williamstown has a playground built into the shape of a large boat at a jetty.
Mt Carberry Reserve, Connell Dr, Melton South has an extensive set of play equipment.
Shorten Reserve, Market St, Footscray West is a fully enclosed playground with fun equipment.
Village Park, Newmarket Road, Werribee playground caters for all age groups and is located beside a great water play park and Skate Park.
Castlemaine Drive, Eynesbury has two nice play structures side by side.
