The Best Playground Swings in Melbourne
Almost every playground has a set of swings, unusually one for younger kids with an enclosed rubber seat with a safety chain and one for older kids with a simple rubber seat. Many playgrounds also have a birds nest swing.
Some playgrounds have a range of swings which offer an extra excitement or fun factor.

Pentagonal swings - There is a frame with five swings so family fights about who gets the swing should be eliminated (unless you happen to have six kids and in that case, I'm sure you are used to family fights anyway). Everyone swings towards the centre which is great fun.

Clown swings - Clown swings are a part of our playground history and some have been recently restored. Swings hang down from the clown face and don't just go back and forth but also revolve around the central column to add an extra fun element. Our kids love swinging and revolving on these swings either in a seated position or stomach down like a porpoise moving through the waves.
