Templeton Reserve Playground, Templeton Street, Wantirna
A fully fenced playground with a giant wooden structure with a huge curvy tunnel slide as the centrepiece. There are a number of ways that get to the top of the slide but none are particularly easy for younger kids. You are going to have to earn the right to come down this slide. Take your choice from a tall slanting rope ladder, vertical rope ladder, hooped metal ladder or a rope bridge from a lower part of the structure which has a flying fox, slanted metal bridge, tunnel, steering wheel, fireman's pole, steps, small rope ladder and small wave slide.
Around the structure is a small wave slide on a hillock, sandpit, bird's nest swing, standard swings, two huge concrete wombats and a nice obstacle climbing course with thick rope traverse, rope net and log bridge.
Unshaded table outside the fenced area and 100m away across the car park is an oval. There is an outdoor gym next to a playground and small artificial soccer field with goals at each end.
