On the north east side of the oval is an area with box, Back 'n Abs and two pull-up bars. Next to the playground is a Senior Park with push-up bar, air walker, box, cross trainer, wave bar, shoulder arches, balance beam, finger stairs, hip spring and balance rail.
Information about the equipment:
Shoulder Arches - Hold the grips with both hands and slide them up and down the diagonal bars in smooth movements. The exercise improves the mobility of neck and shoulders, eye/ hand coordination and simultaneous rhythm-mic movement.
Wave Bar - Move the ring along the tube in both directions. Avoid touching the tube with the ring. The exercise improves strength and mobility of the shoulder region, hand/eye coordination and concentration.
Balance Beam - Walking on the waved beam is a useful balance exercise. Installed at low height above a soft surface, it ensures safe and comfortable training. The surface of the bar itself is slip-
Finger Stairs - Climb up with your fingers one step at a time. This fine motor exercise improves the agility of fingers and shoulder joints.
Hip Spring - Trying to keep your balance whilst sitting on the rocking stool exercises the deep muscles that support your spine. A fun way of improving your posture!
Balance Rail - While holding on to the rail, alternately raise your right and left foot bending your knees. The exercise improves balance and torso control whilst strengthening the abdominal muscles. "
