Swifts Creek - Great Alpine Gallery
The Great Alpine Gallery in the high country of East Gippsland was founded in 1998 as a non-profit community art-space operated entirely by volunteers. We are conveniently located on the Great Alpine Rd in Swifts Creek.
The Great Alpine Gallery's main area is composed of a gallery space featuring rotating displays of the work of local artists, as well as a number of special exhibitions each year. Many of the works on show are available for sale.
We also have a fantastic gift shop with a great variety of artwork available for purchase made exclusively by our local artists. The artworks make a wonderful purchase for yourself, or that unique gift for a special person or occasion.
The Great Alpine Gallery makes a great destination for both locals and visitors alike. The volunteers you'll meet at the Gallery are mainly our artists themselves. It's always worth a return visit as the displays and merchandise available for purchase are constantly changing.
