Surf Coast Strawberry Fields (Mount Duneed)

Watch the kids hunt for the biggest, ripest beauties! Our farm-fresh picking 'paddock to punnet' is a fun experience for the whole family.

Our strawberry farm is a labour of love, nestled on 90 acres backing onto Thompson Creek. It's the perfect location to stop by, on the doorstep of Geelong, Torquay and the Great Ocean Road.

We're a local family who love sharing our passion for fresh produce. Surf Coast Strawberry Fields is a working farm with wide open spaces where kids can see tractors, discover farm life and understand where their food comes from.

Escape the city and come enjoy our happy place!

We have a coffee cart on site where you can purchase coffee or ice cream, along with a space for you to sit down and enjoy your freshly picked strawberries! Please note this is not a cafe and we do not provide a lunch menu.

Opening Hours:

We aim to be open 7 days a week during peak season. Peak picking season is from November - April. Sometimes poor weather conditions for ripening fruit, being picked out, or washed out or extreme heat might effect our days of opening. Check the Facebook page.

Cost:

Our operating system is pay & pick - (pay for your pre weighted punnet upon entry to the picking area for you to fill). See prices. Each person who enters the picking field must purchase a punnet (children under 3 are free)
It is not possible to bring your tub or basket to use for picking. We operate as pay then pick, not pick then weigh. You will be provided with your punnet upon entry to the picking area. We have 3 tub sizes available - 250gm, 500gm and 1kg.
