Stradbroke Park Dog Off Leash Area (Kew East)
A massive reserve which has a range of areas which are suitable for dogs. The southern part of the reserve has two ovals and dogs may be exercise off leash on the sportsground. Dogs must be on a leash within 30 metres of an organised sporting actiivity (game or training).
The most northern oval has athletics facilities. In the area of the ovals there is a gravel path on the western side and a pavilion, water tap without a bowl, bin, toilets and car park on the eastern side. At the north east corner is a shelter with two tables, unshaded table, BBQs and a water tap without a bowl.
In the north west corner is a playground with unshaded tables, BBQ, bin and water tap with a bowl. Further to the north is a bushlands area with long grass, shorter grassy areas and paths. This area has lots of native birds. The reserve ends when you reach High Street.
