Steiglitz - Deadmans Loop Walk
Look for historic remnants including a large pine tree, a stone-lined well and bricks from an old house site on this 4.7km walk in the Steiglitz Historic Park.
Walk 1km from the courthouse along Stawell Street to Sutherlands Creek. Follow the creek bed on the western side for 750m to a small waterfall. The track leads into small valleys with grass trees, finishing at Meredith-Steiglitz Road. Return along the road, passing the old Catholic Church (circa 1868) and cemetery.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are not permitted in Steiglitz Historic Park.
