Riverside Reserve Playground, Doreen Rogen Way, South Morang
The playground is located next to the Community House in a natural amphitheatre - at any moment I expected the lions or at the very least a legion of Romans to come marching in.
The highlight is a tunnel slide reached by either a log staircase with steps cut into it, a rope tunnel ladder or rope net. There is also monkey bars, rope traverse, two little metal slides on mounds, seesaw, birds nest swing, two standard swings, spinning disk, flying fox with disk seat, large wooden tepee and lots of log and rock steppers.
Next to the playground area is a shelter with two tables, unshaded tables, water tap and BBQs. There's a basketball/netball court and outdoor gym. Some grassy areas. There are toilets in the Community House overlooking the playground. Around the corner are two huge roofs covering four tables and BBQs. This area has lovely mosaics on the ground and a water tap.
