St Vincents Tennis Club (Strathmore)
The St Vincent's Tennis Club is an inclusive club offering tennis opportunities to all playing abilities and experience levels. We offer coaching, competition and social tennis options.
The club is located at Rosebank Avenue, Strathmore, behind the St Vincent de Paul Primary School and Parish and has two en tout cas courts.
Competition
St. Vincent's Tennis Club members play in a number of day and night competitions in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, catering for juniors, ladies, mens and mixed teams. Currently we have over 80 members actively participating in these competitions.
N.S.L.T.A Competition: Thursdays 9.30am to 2.30pm
N.S.J.T.A Competition: Saturdays 7.30am to 1pm
N.S.N.T.A Competition: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm
Social Tennis
Join us for a hit of tennis and a cuppa every Tuesday morning. Just turn up from 9:00am, finishing at 11:00am. All standards of tennis welcome. Children and babies also welcome.
Coaching
St Vincent's Tennis Club have engaged Origin Tennis to provide a Professional Tennis Coaching program. Origin Tennis is a Professional Tennis Coaching Company aimed at fostering and developing passionate, enthusiastic and skilled tennis players right through from the tennis club grassroots to high performance tennis.
Court Hire
The Primary School will be utilising the tennis courts during the term from 11.00 - 11.30am and 1.30 - 2.30pm.
A member may invite only one non-member onto the court to play. This can be on an occasional basis only. A member may not invite a non-member to play on a regular basis.
Public court hire is not available.
