St Arnaud was began its life in the 1850''s gold rush, becoming well settled as the town moved from mining into a varied range of farming practices. The town and district of approximately 2300 people is serviced not just by farming, but also by agriculture based industries. St Arnaud also has kept its lovely collection of heritage buildings, park spaces and a great selection of shops and businesses for all your needs. 1. St Arnaud Primary School

Fundraising help the school receive this amazing art work, featuring Kyle's kids, on the Primary Schools Stephanie Alexander Gardening Shed.
2. Medo
Back wall of the Angling Club Rooms
Old Swimming Pool, Pioneer Park
Loving husband and father of three, Medo was a valued Angling' Club member and member of the community.
3. Caring Hands - St Arnaud Hospital
Front wall of the hospital, 52 North Western Rd
Inspired by our wonderful hospital and dedicated hospital staff, especially through the Covid pandemic.
4. Andrea Hicks

Andrea grew up here in St Arnaud and later became a teacher at our Secondary College and Andrea taught Kyle in Year 12. This art work was a community project with donated materials.
5. The CFA Commemoration
Chemist Wall Cnr 88 Napier & Alma Sts
Featuring long time CFA member Trevor Baldock. This work pays tribute both to the efforts of the local St Arnaud CFA volunteers, who helped fight Victoria's bushfires, and to the tragic loss of wildlife.
6. Maurie Wood

From his own success on the football field playing for St Arnaud and North Melbourne, to his mentoring of our local clubs junior players, at training during the week and on the bench on Saturdays, he is a big part of the St Arnaud Football Club.
7. Torney's Fighting Fit Gym
Cnr of 26 Alma & McMahon Sts
These images on the front of Kyle's gym. are of Jeff Fenech, Lionel Rose and Kostya Tszyu and are part of a mural series of Australian Boxing Legends.
8. Loss Hamilton
36 Alma St
Los, with his father Alf, purchased a bus and started Alf Hamilton & Son Bus Service in May1946. Los was well known and respected in St Arnaud. Los's son Peter continues this bus service today along with his family. His mural is on the original bus depot.
9. Johnny from JPX Takeaway
67 Napier St
Together with his wife Pam, they started their takeaway business in St Arnaud in 1984. John has always loved the small country town atmosphere which gave his family a good life through hard work and community support and friendship.
10. The Royal Hotel

The Royal has an excellent display of Kyle's art in its beer garden, with the Carlton Draught Man, Henry Lawson and friends, and many framed drawings and paintings in its dining areas.
11. Weirs IGA Supermarket
Back Wall - Rear Car Park
Alan & Carmel Weir began operating the St Arnaud Supermarket in the 1980s, and owning up to six Weirs IGA's over the last 40 years. The St Arnaud store has seen a few makeovers that have improved its shopping experience. Most local school kids have "worked at Weirs" at some point in their teenage years.
12. Owen Baldwin

Owen is a local legend, shearer, horseman, farmer and well liked family man.
13. Ron Reyne
14 McMahon St opposite Silo Art
Ron worked in the building the majority of his life, starting work at the bottom and ended up running his own trucking business from here. His shed became a drop in for 'smoko' for the tradies, in particularly in winter where tradies could swing by for a coffee and chat around the pot belly.
14. The Miner
22 Kings Ave
This mural pays tribute to the origins of St Arnaud in the 1850's gold rush, when the town was first called New Bendigo. The image is based on local resident Gary Perry, because of his resemblance to the 1800's style miner.
15. "Mates" - Os Sanderson & Matt Batters
Cnr Wills St & 16 Kings Ave
This artwork is called "Mates" and is about two local hardworking, Aussie Gentlemen who will now keep an eye on you as you cruise by or stop in at Six to Six.
16. Leo Pickthall
5956 Sunraysia Hwy
Leo was a gentleman, a legend and at 17, founder of Pickthall Transport in 1944. Even after retiring at 80, Leo's commitment for trucking, family business, and support for the local St Arnaud community was one admired by everyone who knew him and earned him a place in the National Road Transport Hall of Fame.
