Lions Club of Footscray Memorial Playground, Whitten Avenue, Footscray
Wooden playground next to the Western Bulldogs facilities. Surrounded by a fence with a gate as dodgy as a Will Minson last minute free kick for goal.
Structure includes a very high wave slide and scrambling wall, dual wave slides, various high ladders, panels, shop front, inclined balance beam, tunnel, walkway, smaller wave slide, climber, fireman's pole, tic-tac-toe, hanging disks, abacus, walkway and steering wheel. Also swings and three springers.
There are a number of Lions panels scattered about (there is a little game to discover how many) and a big wooden lion statue to reflect the fact that this is a Lions project.
Big shelter with table. Much of the playground receives some shade. Seat with possible shade.
