Southern Road Reserve Playground, Southern Road, Mentone
The playground has had a nice upgrade. The main wooden structure has dual wave slides, scrambling wall, shop front, little metal slide, distorting mirror, tunnel, rope bridges, fireman's pole and cubbies underneath.
There is a big sandpit where parents have left some toys to play with, an obstacle climbing area with rope nets, hanging disks and rope bridges, birds nest swing, swing, log see-saw, horse springer, spinning carousel, bike springer and a frame with five swings.
There is a shelter with two tables, BBQs and water tap plus grassy areas with a lot of trees. The playground is fenced off from the road with gates but is not fully fenced. Near an oval.
