South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL)
The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) came into existence in 2012, after the Moorabbin Saints Junior Football League (MSJFL) was renamed in order to better represent the League's geographical spread and its presence in south-east metropolitan Melbourne.
In 2015, the SMJFL consists of 27 member clubs, fielding 391 teams playing Australian Rules football across 52 different divisions. The SMJFL caters for age groups ranging from Under 8s to Under 17s, including three divisions for girls - Under 12, Under 15 and Under 18.
