South Melbourne Life Saving Club (Albert Park)
At South Melbourne Life Saving Club our vision is to be the leading bayside lifesaving club by providing a safe, fun, engaged community environment and a safer South Melbourne Beach.
Our primary function is to train and provide volunteer Life Savers and ensure patrols are provided along the South Melbourne beach.
Membership
Your membership entitles you to use the facilities and the board encourages members to become involved in the activities of the Club. These activities include life saving, nippers, fundraising, social get-togethers and we welcome members to stand for positions on the Board and Committees.
Membership Details & Costs
Nippers
South Melbourne Life Saving Club's Nipper program is open to children between 5 and 13. Our Nipper program is a great introduction to Surf Life Saving - providing your child with key water safety skills, the opportunity to make new friends & be active in a fun and safe beach environment!
Patrols
South Melbourne Life Saving Club conducts volunteer patrols along the South Melbourne Beach on weekends and public holidays from the last weekend in November to Easter Monday. Our aim is to to provide a safe and enjoyable beach experience for everyone.
