Smythesdale Gardens Playground, Gardens Street, Smythesdale
The highlight is a pirate ship with wooden pirate carved out of a huge cypress tree stump. The kids can climb up onto the ship provided they don't mind risking a splinter or two.
There is a small playground structure with wave slide, rope frame ladder, shop fronts, climbing wall, ladder, steering wheel and tunnel. Also swings and yellow horse springer.
There are two unshaded tables and 50m away are some more tables. There is a shelter being developed which will probably get a BBQ and tables. Toilets and open grassy area. At the corner of Glenelg Highway and Gardens Street is a lovely RSL monument with a carved wooden bugler.
