Shiels Reserve Playground, Hope Street, Brunswick West
The playground is on a long thin strip which reminds me of a supermodel trying to fit into a pair of super tight pants. The playground is suited to younger kids.
The main structure has a bee theme with a long walkway up to a platform with a metal slide which could also be reached by two curved rope ladders. This area also has a ladybird springer, frog see-saw, in-ground trampoline, spinning disk and two standard swings.
Further along is a wooden cubby surrounded by speak and listen flowers.
Sitting above the playground is an area with water tap, unshaded table and shelter with table and BBQs. There is a 70m grassy strip to the south which is a dog off leash area.
