Shepparton Tower
Constructed between 1967 and 1968, the Shepparton Tower introduced microwave technology to Shepparton by the then Telecom Australia, now Telstra.
The Tower stands at 76.2 metres tall with a tourist viewing platform at 35 metres high, offering 360 degree views over the city and surrounds.
With 160 steps over 8 flights of stairs, the Tower has also become known for Tower Runs and fitness training with the fastest time recorded being just 89 seconds.
The tower is located just off the Maude Street Mall.
