Seville Pool Playground, Monbulk-Seville Road, Seville
A lovely play area beside the free Seville Water Play Park. This is now a destination for summer and winter after the upgrade of the playground. The fun highlights of the play space are a huge birds nest swing, a big cone which revolves around (hopefully with the help of an army of kids and parents) and a full size tractor with trailer.
Other elements include a simple maze made from open wooden fences guarded by a sheep dog and a less than vigilant cow. Inside the maze you can find a pig and a sheep, a cylinder you turn around to make noises (thankfully better than the noises a pig makes after eating a bag of beans), pentagonal frame with five swings including one with a harness, family sized see-saw, two in-ground trampolines, long structure with monkey bars and flying fox and another structure with wave slide, spiral slide, chain ladder, steps, shop front, telescope and steering wheel.
There is a huge sandpit partly covered by a roof and a water feature beside it where you press a button and water flows over the top of a large rock and through part of the sandpit where there is a creature (which I'm struggling to identify) and onto an area below where it is great fun to clamber over the rocks.
There is a shelter with a table and BBQs, another shelter with a table, unshaded seats and a water tap. There are huge grassy areas at the Recreation Reserve next door.
